The Interior

The Interior (with fish), Reliquary Cabinets, Birthing Trays and The Harbingers are four sub-sections of an ongoing project entitled The Interior that Christine Dixie began in 2005, when she was pregnant with her second child. The project integrates cartographic, religious and medical references to unsettle established norms between the exterior world and the interior space of the body.
