The Binding Project - Repair

Repair is an ultra-violet image taken by Julia Campbell-Such an intern conservationist at the National Museum of African Art, Smithsonian Institution in 2020. She had taken the image so she could repair the sculpture Blind, as some of the toy army men had fallen off and she needed to see exactly where to replace them.

The concept of repair, repairing bodies and repairing hearts through care given and through the possibility of seeing things through a different light, in this case literally an ultra-violet light is what struck me when I saw this image.
