The exhibition ‘Earth Matters: Land as Material and Metaphor in the Arts of Africa’ was exhibited at the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art in 2013 and Dixie’s series, ‘Even in the Long Descent’ was exhibited in this major show curated by Dr. Karen Milbourne.
