The Disorder: Below the Crux/Above the Flux

The Disorder: Below the Crux  imagines the ways in which trade across the oceans, language and disease are transmitted. The endless cycle happens below the formation of stars known as the crux, a formation used to navigate ships by and closely related to colonization of the south.

The Disorder: Above the Flux takes its inspiration from the quote by Betrand Russell, " I have wished to understand the hearts of men. I have wished to know why the stars shine. And I have tried to apprehend the Pythagorean power by which number holds sway above the flux."
